Billy Koh is one of the most influential and creative figures in the Chinese pop music industry. In his more than 20 years of career in the music industry, he has made remarkable achievements in both artist and product positioning, music creativity, and business management. As one of the founders of Ocean Butterflies, he resigned as the CEO of the group in 2014 to create a new music industry model in the Internet era - Amusic Rights Management.

Billy has produced songs by popular singers spanning five generations: including Guo Feng's "Heart Will Go With Love" in the post-60s; Chen Jieyi's "Heartache" and "Like You" in the post-70s, A Du's "He Must Love You" and "Dark Skies"; JJ Lin's "Jiangnan", "One Thousand Years Later" and "Unfortunately No If" in the post-80s, Xu Song's "Cool Down"; BY2's "You Don't Know Me" in the post-90s; and Xu Binglong "Matters of the Heart", Yi Yang Qian Xi "Wonderful has just begun" and so on. He is one of the very few "star makers" who has created five generations of singers.

In addition to being a judge for many major TV shows such as "I am a Singer", "Happy Boys" and "The Voice of Dreams" in Mainland China, "Chinese Avenue of Stars" and "China Idol" in the US, "Asian Music Festival" hosted by KBS in Korea, "Asian New Talent Competition" hosted by TVB in Hong Kong, "Absolute SuperStar" in Singapore. He has also been invited to speak at international music forums and prestigious universities in Belgium, France, USA, Canada, Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan and Hong Kong and has spoken at international music forums and prestigious universities.
